Margaret is taking advantage of her new digs (did I mention that she moved into her own room? Well, she did) by spending a bit more time playing in her crib. It's part of my plan to convince her that her crib is a happy place, and if she wakes up in the middle of the night, she should just think pleasant and soothing thoughts until she goes back to sleep.
One of her toys clips onto the side of the crib. She likes it a lot for itself -- it's got handles and jack-in-the-box elements and buttons that both play music and flash lights -- but she has also discovered that it makes a useful ladder.
Also, having hauled herself up by the toy, she figured out how to step sideways.
And then, having worked up a sweat, dressed like an aerobics instructor from the 80s.
I believe that in this next photo, she's challenging us to make something of it.
