I have fixed the problem with our camera (which is, by the way, why more and more of the pictures on this blog were from cell phones; we got nicer cell phones at pretty much the same time that the camera decided to get something in its lens that put a smudge in the picture). So there should be more and better pictures.
I was shooting pictures of Margaret this evening, mostly just to revel in the smudge-free picture taking, but I got one picture that was a little disturbing. Usually, pictures taken with a flash don't get her eyes so much, since she closes them in the light. Like so.
Or indeed, like so.
But this one did.
And I realized that Margaret's recent all blueberry, all the time diet (really, the child is into blueberries in a big way) had had far-reaching effects.
Anyway, I'm not sure what she thinks of the redoubled picture-taking. Her facial expressions are many and varied and don't really give anything away.
Sometimes she is thoughtful.
And sometimes she looks like she's posing on purpose.
And sometimes she looks like she needs an hour or so to put her face on, however much posing there is going on.
And sometimes she looks shy.
And sometimes she looks embarrassed about the whole thing.
And sometimes she looks like a person with high-level train playing with to do, if people would just leave her alone to get on with it.
