Margaret has a bizarre fascination with Miss Clavel, the nun who oversees the school in Madeline. She has long conversations with her in her room when some small person is meant to be having a nap instead of gabbing with imaginary nuns. She makes food for Miss Clavel at her stove. She makes her a bed on the floor before she goes to bed. She tells me that whatever I’m doing is not the way Miss Clavel would do it. In fact, I’m beginning to hate Miss Clavel.
Anyway, here is Miss Clavel.
And here is Margaret’s Miss Clavel costume that she made yesterday.
I think it works.
Why is Miss Clavel not called Sister Clavel if she is a nun? Something fishy here.
