Imitation is the sincerest form of being a little sister

I've been trying, over the past few months, to find hairstyles that keep Margaret's hair from tangling, because without confinement, it manages to tie itself into knot in record time.

At least, I assume it's record time.  Presumably someone out there keeps records on this sort of thing, and they must notice that Margaret's hair tangles faster than the average hair.

Anyway, the point is, I have tried braids.

It's not quite long enough, but in another month or so, it may be a viable option.

Ellie noticed this, and demanded a braid of her own.

Ellie's is really not long enough; the moment she moved her head, it all fell down in the front.  But that didn't stop her from demanding it.
