Expressions

This is the face Margaret makes when she has found her Peter Rabbit and is going to tell you about it even though her father is trying to take her to the park, which she wanted 2 minutes ago, but that was before she happened to notice this Peter Rabbit sitting on the floor which is now the most important thing so please would you listen while she tells you all about Peter Rabbit and the beans and the radishes and the parsley and the cucumber frame?

She has also learned to say “actually” when she is expressing an opinion contrary to mine (and also frequently an opinion contrary to fact).  She’s not saying actually in this picture, but the face is more or less the face she makes when saying it.

And this is the face she makes when she is listening politely to you with no intention of doing what you’re suggesting.
