Ellie has one of the best astonished looks ever. And she uses it a lot. Some might wonder what it is about life in our house that leaves her looking perpetually startled, but I have nothing to say to those people.
Mostly because I don’t know the answer to their question, and that makes me very uncomfortable.
It transpires that one of the things she wanted was the pacifier that was lying under her ear, but luckily, she has a sister to figure these things out.
Because that’s what sisters are for, apparently. That, and looking at each other adoringly.
Or possibly warily. But I’m going to go with adoringly, because that’s a much cuter interpretation.
